New to EVGA mobo. Great product, like the quality and the easy setup process. But I'm encountering one issue and one maybe issue.

First, when installing the RST, I get: "You are trying to install this software on an unsupported platform. Please contact your platform manufacturer or vendor for the proper software for your platform" Yeah, I might contact EVGA later, but wondering if it's happening to anyone else. Tried the RST that came with the thumb drive and downloaded RST from EVGA and Intel, but no luck.

Second, my entire startup of Win 10 is ~ 25 - 35 seconds. It's not awful, but not impressive too, considering the 12-second startup with my 11800H laptop. Most of the startup was spending at the "A0" status (~15 - 20 seconds). Is it pretty much the normal startup time or is there anything else I can improve? Already in UEFI mode and tried to enable and disable fast boot mode (no differences). Part b of this question, is there any specified NVME driver available to this mobo? My IDE is still running the generic "Standard SATA AHCI Controller", which might be improved if a specified NVME driver is available.

Update, I'm trying to run the OS on an M.2 SSD without RAID and continue to use the RAID1 for my two 8TB HDD. So I need the RST software, and preferably, the NVME driver.

Thanks in advance.

If you aren't running Raid and just running a single boot drive then you don't even need a NVME driver at all.

I indeed want to make my two 8TB HDDs continue as a RAID1 array. But not the 1TB SSD. Since my OS is on the SSD and I do not want to build RAID for my OS, the VMD won't work. On my previous Xeon system, I simply built the RAID1 using RST, and worked fine. FYI, this setup is not purely for gaming purposes. The key issue here is whether this mobo supports the RST installation as advertised. The rest is just to make the bootup better but not essential.
