It sounded like b.s... but in a negative review on Amazon it was said EVGA only issues RMA's for products bought directly from the EVGA store, or through Amazon. Can someone confirm this as false? I didn't see anything in the RMA info page about it and it doesn't sound true.  As a recent buyer of an EVGA product from Newegg I just wanted to be positive though.

That negative review is a lie. Evga will RMA cards from anywhere as long as they are EVGA cards. Latin America does have restrictions that the card MUST be purchased from an authorized retailer.

Please post a link to that Review. I am sure evga would love to address their concerns.

Well they did with the sort of general response all the negative reviews get. But here it is anyway, 3rd to last sentence :

I've learned not to put faith in 1 star reviews on amazon. They are usually the odd defective product, or written by a defective person...lol

You are too new to the forums, so links are automatically removed to prevent spam. Post everything after Amazon.com/ but leave off Amazon dot, or it will remove it.

On another note, oh ancient one, can you please tell me if there is a way to KEEP myself "unsubscribed" from  threads. I keep having to select unsubscribe after every time I comment somewhere then I am automatically subscribed again, and so on.. I really don't need an email for every reply on the thread. Lol

You should be able to go into your user settings (top right of the desktop forum) and change the setting. Give me a second to find it for you and I will post it. Booting my pc now

Yeah I went to User Control Panel>Subscription>Subscribed Threads  and checked the boxes then unsubscribed, but as soon as I comment again I have to do it all over again. Heh. I was surprised there isn't just a "get email notifications" type box.

Hello,

EVGA warranty terms and conditions does not prevent anyone from warrantying their products. However, if purchased from an unauthorized retailer/user the date of purchase would continue off as the date it was shipped out of EVGA. EVGA does not sell directly through Amazon. Amazon is an authorized retailer, they buy the products from EVGA and sell at on their store as EVGA products. On the invoice, it should say sold by Amazon LLC. If purchasing from another retailer who is selling from Amazon that would be considered a third party seller/secondhand purchase as they were not authorized by EVGA, the date of purchase would be changed to the shipped date.

Yep! I was thinking this was a 3rd Party Seller on Amazon. (Third-Party Seller)
You follow through on Amazons website you will also see the same about the (Third-Party Seller).
