RMA card has same serial number and part number

My RMA has just been completed, but the card that has been shipped out has the same part number and serial number... Have I just completely wasted my time?

    99.9% chance it won’t be the same serial number. If it hasn’t updated yet, there may be a small delay or a reason it wasn’t updated.

    You may be seeing the same for now, but the one you receive more than likely won’t be the same.

    The RMA has been completed, and my replacement card has already shipped. When I go to view details the card has the exact same serial and part number. Everything has been updated as far as I can tell.

    Actually, there’s an option to unregister and register my new product. I guess I have to do this manually when the replacement arrives? I thought this was done for you?

    The card should be automatically registered.

    Usually it is done for you, but sometimes an error occurs. Give it time, if the card isn’t registered when you get it, it takes less than 2 minutes to complete.

    I was able to see your RMA. It appears your unit failed our testing and we sent you out a different unit. It would not be the same serial but is the same part number/model.
