I have a RTX2080 FTW3 card with the logo peeling off. So I got a new RMA card. With my old card I always was running the second "OC" BIOS to let the 3 fans run 24/7. With the new RMA card I also switched to the OC BIOS but it's still the same as the normal BIOS only 1 fan is running. The others only starts at around 60 degrees. I tried switching BIOS multiple times but both BIOS seems to do the same. Any ideas?

I'm guessing you completely removed power from the system before switching the vbios switch?

Yes. I switched it before I first install the card to the system.

In that case I would recommend contacting evga support for assistance on reflashing the secondary vbios.

I contacted the EU support again and the only thing they want to let me check is if the fans are blocked. They don't understand the problem. I should have never started a RMA. :(

What is the OC Bios supposed to do anyway? I've read the fans should be more aggressive, but I'm using it right now and the card seems to behave exactly the same as with the normal bios.

Same with mine, but what it gives you is a Bios you can change and have the other one Normal to fall back on if you kill the OC Bios.

The only thing I noticed changing from the normal to the oc bios is the minimum fan speed (20% instead of 0%). This should be the case in yours too, take a look.

I've just turned on the OC Bios and the fan speed is still at 0% for me. Can anybody else check what happens? EDIT: Nevermind, I've upgraded to the latest X1 and after restarting the computer I have the fans set at 20% in X1...except I have only the first fan spinning at around 840rpm with the card at idle. I see from your picture that your first fan is spinning too.

It may say 20% for the fans, but my fans are not spinning, except for the GPU fan.

The only fan spinning for me is the first, i.e. the one that's closer to the HDMI/DP ports.

My fans didn't run on the OC bios either until I checked auto in px1 Now they run fine even with px1 not enabled on boot and without opening it. So not sure what's up with that, but they haven't gone off since enabling auto control once so I'm not terribly worried
