So this is how it goes. I wanted a 3000 gpu for the longest time but with short stock and doing a new pc build I pulled the plug and got it on facebook marketplace after seeing many Youtube videos how great evga cards are. The card was great for the first day but on the second I started the computer with a black screen. I put in a rma with evga and they emailed me rma number and a long message how to ship. Packing material, insurance etc... I shipped to them UPS second day air which was 150.00 plus 1000 insurance just incase. I checked tracking and they received it as noted without any problems. After 2 days I get tracking from UPS on my replacement coming to me ground but is in limbo showing delay after 8 days. I just saying I put in 100% to return a broken item but they send it back ground with no thought about asking me for better shipping which I would has gladly paid. I'm out a week without a computer and now may have to buy a cheap gpu just to work. I'm just glad the seller on my card was nicer than evga rma. He's looking to get me another card but this is so annoying for a company as large as evga. Just my 2 cents before starting rma get all the facts! I'm feeling they had nothing in stock so made a label and blame UPS on delays. It maybe not that but who knows cause UPS tracking always show detailed location on package and my was stuck in CA since the beginning.

Thanks, Bert Quan

You should not be posting your RMA # on the forums, just an FYI.

As a secondary buyer, you don't have the option to purchase Advanced RMA, if memory serves - this would be a good reason to purchase the card first hand instead of second hand, because that would've allowed you to pay $40 once & get a new card sent to you FIRST, via UPS 2nd Day Air, and THEN return the broken card with a label they send with your new card.

Unfortunately, because you bought the card second hand, I don't think they offer faster shipping options, although I'm sure if you spoke to the right CS Rep they might be able to get that done.

As an aside, I had my card "ship" on one of my orders & not move for an entire day - I called eVGA Customer Service, turned out what had happened was the label got ripped off the package, and any time that happens UPS returns the package to eVGA immediately.  This of course was all resolved with the phone call, they repackaged my card & sent it out with a fresh label, upgraded my package to overnight free of charge because it was a "warehouse error" technically.

eVGA's customer service is great, but being a second-hand purchaser kind of cordons you out of being able to use the best parts of it.

Hopefully you receive your new card soon & it works out well for you.

I know that feeling. Have something simular with several DHL packages.

At least in my case it's customs delay problem. There is nothing you can do about it.

I keep an old gtx 770 in my house for situations like this.

For RMAs.. If "advanced processing/RMA" is not available to me I just ship ground with minimal to no insurance.  Did that with a MB that failed last year.  However the OP is dead on right about the fact that no company will make RMAs easy unless you meet certain conditions.  My MB, (not EVGA) replacement was a horrible experience I ended up going with the Amazon return policy rather then the RMA.
