Hi,

Can someone please help look into my RMA? My RMA was denied because I was missing the Manufacturer's number. First of all, this device is a RMA device I received a year ago. I have never removed any stickers and used the device as is. I am almost certain this device was shipped without the Manufacturer's Number sticker. Second of all I don't understand why my device would be denied over this, my serial number and tamper stickers are all there and show that the device was never tamped with. Can't they look up my manufacturer's number based off of my serial number? I've attached some photos the RMA department sent me.

I would appreciate if anyone could help me as they have closed my RMA and are shipping my device back. Not only is this time consuming but also cost me money to ship it to them.

Thanks for any help,
Alex

manufacturer will have a build sheet which list certain tracable components... likely numbers off prcocessor, vram, board

    probably a long process,
but might be able to shove that faulty sticker process where they don't want it

Did you look inside your case to see if the sticker happened to fallen off in it? Which EVGA location did you receive this product for RMA replacement?

You could always email or call support and see if they can help you. Probably emailing support would be the way to go but a call might be worth a shot. I can't say it would change it being shipped back to you but at least you might be given more information or if a mistake was made and they can do a RMA I am sure they will do what they can to help you out.

if the RMA has been denied, then
hasn't all the evga procedures been implimented
    and failed?

Depends if the employee bothered to look through everything or not, plus management can make an exception. Mistakes can and do happen from time to time. Another customer received the wrong card back, the warranty sticker or shroud said it was a different card than what GPU-Z did.

illustrates why a total denial over a sticker shouldn't even be allowed
request for more info & a notice verifcation takes longer, makes sense

    Hi Jose,

Thanks for reaching out to me regarding this RMA. I received your email over the weekend and was told to expect a follow up last Saturday or Sunday. I have still not had a follow up and I emailed you for a follow up on Monday, but still have not heard back. Has there been any updates?

    Thanks again for your help,
    Alex
