The beast spoke softly into my ears saying "buy me, and build me". I tried not to listen to temptation, but the beast allured me with her looks. I bought her. So today she arrived.

The beast is large and looks fantastic. However, she will have to wait for the fans I need. She will need 10-12 fans. The fans have to be RGB to have the proper lighting effect through the glass. I will try my best to show off the mod each step of the way but I'll need a weekend and I need to wait for the fans to arrive. This is the heaviest and largest case I've ever worked with.

My wife hates boxes. You wouldn't believe how fast she cut that box up into little pieces for the recycling bin.

By the way in the picture you'll see that it says two man lift required.  I could not lift that beast up the stairs to my work room. My wife had to help me. Of course I unboxed it downstairs first but it was still 'that' heavy.

I'm glad you finaly have your CORSAIR 1000D.
I know what mean when you like some product. I was same when 650D was launched.
Now I feel same for Lian Li PC-O8 and O9 but I only can afford original PC-O11 and now in August I will finally have him.

But god 1000D cost 500$, he is so behind example gunmetal S8S from Caselabs.

I decided to go for it when a 20 percent coupon from Corsair appeared in an email. Saved me about 100 Euros.

20% is significant discount on such high price.
I'm same when I like something I need to find.
I will check with guy who bring me stuff from Hungary how many PC-O8 they had and what's best price they could give me.
Usually some sellers when import stuff and no customers want to give for price they payed for him.
    I can't push PC-O8 from my head.

He is so small but fit E-ATX.
360mm Radiator in back chamber, Noctua fans out of visual site in back chamger, tubes
through grommets. D5 100 Revo on instead back side fan.
Perfect configuration at the moment. On top 2x AF120 White in exhaust configuration.
But damn PC-O8 cost 400 euro.

Apparently the beast (1000D) is 29.5Kg, or 65ish pounds...

That thing is a Beast...when I had a PC, I had the 800D, nice big case..great airflow..but I think I'll go smaller in my next build...

You need to get two of them and just use them for the legs of the desk. It looks to be tall enough for that.

    rj do you plan watercooling?
I officialy need only 3 fans and thermal pad for loop.
And Lian Li PC-O11. It would be bad in old case new loop, first time.

I will NOT be doing a complete watercooling loop. I will use my Corsair H115i AIO CPU watercooler with the Asetek adapter for the TR4 socket. However as soon as Corsair introduces an adapter for their H150i to be used on Threadripper then I will change the cooler.

By the way I received 3 LL120 Corsair RGB fans today and that is enough for me to start work on Saturday.

    Time for updates:

Saturday was spent moving my build from the Corsair 780T to the 1000D. I am still a long way from being finished but I have enough together now so I can make a test run to make sure everything is running smoothly:
