Question for z370 evga motherboard?

If I bought one of this board right now will it come with the updated bios? if not is there a way for me to update the bios without cpu in it? I really like to use either one from the three board for the upcoming the i9 9900k. I feel like I can recoup some money I spent on i9 9900k.

    If you buy the board from the evga store it should come with the latest bios.

    Not sure if this info helps. My EVGA z370FTW came with the 1.8 BIOS and an i7-8086k fired right up no problem.

    The UEFI bios on EVGA motherboard has an easy load of new bios  from within the BIOS.

    No
    SPI flashing via USB allows you to flash your BIOS without a CPU
    Only the EVGA Z390 FTW and EVGA X299 MICRO ATX 2 can update the Bios without a CPU.

    I just spoke with EVGA technical support and he told me I might not get the motherboard with the updated bios.... :(

    NVM... I spoke with David and Jacob on the phone as of right now and they reassure me that z370 is equipped with the latest bios if I bought it directly from EVGA. They also told me that the worst scenario if the motherboard bios is not updated is simply will not post.
