Hi all, just sent in a support ticket but thought I would post here too.

Bought a new 1080ti card from Scan UK on 18th September 2018. When I got around to using the card it turned out it was DOA.

Spoke to Tech support and I recived my RMA card back today.

Couple of concerns.

The replacement card was sent in an EVGA Brown box rather than retail packaging. Considering the card was less than a week old I thought I would get retail boxed?

Have I been sent a refurbed card? It has the prefix KR on it. Also has the protective plastic on the rear and fan grills.

The replacement card seems to be missing the little EVGA sticker on the rear. The tamper one... is this normal for new RMA cards?

And finally I was wondering why the card was sent packaged in two bubble wrap bags rather than in an anti static bag?

Many thanks in advance and apologies for the rambling.

Lassar

Edit just realised this is in the wrong forum. Sorry can a mod please move it?

    Hello Lassar,

For new retail products that are RMA'd within 30 days a new in box item should have been shipped back, we apologize for this inconvenience.  Can you send us photos of your replacement card along with the box we sent you to Support@evga.com and hopefully we can get this resolved
