Hello,

I am attempting to boot my X99 Micro board and I am running into a boot loop. When the power button is pressed, Fans spin up for about a half second, and "C" shows on the readout, then it turns off, and does this over again continuously. I have a Xeon E5-2650 v3 installed with a fresh BIOS chip from EVGA with the latest BIOS. I don't have any other CPUs for testing. I have tried clearing CMOS and making sure everything is installed correctly. I am using one stick of RAM, and tried it in all four slots with the same issue. It also has the same symptoms with no memory installed. I tried with a different stick with the same issues.

LED Indicators:
* 5VSB_LED : White (solid constantly)
* VCC_LED : Red
* VSN_LED : Amber
* FIVR_LED : Red
* CATERR_LED : Red
* ERR_LED0 : Red
* ERR_LED1 : Red
* ERR_LED2 : Red

The motherboard manual didn't have any info about the LEDs other than the Power LED, DIMM LED and Standby LED, so I'm not sure what these signify about which part of the board could be bad.

If I am missing something, please let me know. Thanks!

    It's definitely not the power supply. Tested all pins with a multimeter, and made sure it was plugged into the 24pin and 8pin securely. I will contact support as per the article though.

    That CPU is not on the compatibility list for any X99 mobo..You'll need to put a supported CPU in it and try it..Maybe take your box to your local PC repair shop and have them do it real quick like if you don't have a supported CPU to try..Or..Contact EVGA Customer Service about it.
