Lets be honest, there always seems to be availability of cards for desktop manufacturers then there are for us poor slobs who have been in the queue. By the time my queue is called, the 4000 series will be out. Needless to say I wont be interested in buying the 3080 I have in my queue. IT's really a ripoff because they are making more money selling to everyone other than loyal customers such as my self who has been buying these cards for many years. I still have old cards that have a life time warranty in my account. 
Why wont EVGA be honest and just tell us that it's a waist of time. That, and the original prices have gone up. 

Poor baby who makes their first post a whine thread.  Already gotten a 3080, 3090 and 3080 Ti via the queue.

I signed up for a queue notification from May 2021 and only have received a notification to purchase an EVGA 3070ti just a few days ago. It sucks that one would have to wait for so long just for a single product. But, I'm hoping to use it as soon as it arrives at my door.

The queue system is better that what a lot of retailers were doing at launch and are doing right now. Say what you want, it's gotten cards in the hands of a lot of people who otherwise wouldn't have won a Newegg Shuffle, spam F5 fast enough during a website restock, or fight people in a Best Buy parking lot.

The queue system isn't a perfect system, but if you have patience and are willing to wait, a video card should hopefully be available to you eventually. 

The que wasn't a waste for me,I managed to get a card from the que.
I was hoping to get in earlier in the que but the website was overloaded.

Three of my friends all managed to snag a card thanks to the queue, so it’s definitely worth it.

Nowadays, you can find a GPU outside of the queue, but it takes CONSTANT effort. Regularly check local retailers online, in store, and talk to local retailer store employees (like human beings) about how regularly they get stock. Put in the effort and you will eventually find a non-scalped card.

It seems that AMD and BestBuy do regular drops of new cards on a schedule.  I was able to grab a few cards from BestBuy witht he Octo Shop browser plugin that notified me with stock alerts. There are also Twitch and YouTube streams along with twitter accounts that do real time stock checks and alerts.

There is one thing I noticed before when people complain about being in queue for a long time and not getting a notification.  Most of those people signed up for the lower priced card or cards in that GPU version.  They signed up for the lower priced XC3 cards.  All of those XC3 cards have the slowest moving queues. Lets face it, if the GPU yields are good from the chip foundry, EVGA has no financial incentives to make an XC3 over a FTW3 Ultra.  Its just good business to maximize your profits.  I know some people are going to reply and say that EVGA should make more XC3 cards to keep those customers happy, but in reality those customers know there is a pandemic and a chip shortage.  If they don't get a card from EVGA, its likely they aren't going to get one form anyone else either.
 
Another thing I noticed is that some of the other people complain about the queue signed up a weeks or months after that model of card was launched.  So they have thousands or tens of thousands of people ahead of them in the queue.

I think the queue is significantly better than what other AIB's are doing, they're just sending everything off to retailers, and the only choice you have with newegg for example is to get lucky in the shuffle and pay a markup for a GPU. At least EVGA is letting you wait in line for a card at a lower price.
 
And not everyone can afford the highest end most expensive card, I've been waiting for a 3070, hopefully Nvidia didn't discontinue it for the 3070Ti, or the rumored 3070Ti 16GB.

EU queue = waste 
 
EVGA should have dumped that entire Europe branch along time ago.  I'm not sure I have ever heard anybody talk about how helpful they have been to the customers.

I beg to differ. I had a long queue time in europe, but I got my 3060Ti I wanted. This was the only way I could upgrade my system for a reasonable price.
I am very much thankful to EVGA for this EU queue system.

Literally someone made an account and a thread to post one time about a "me me me" problem?  They literally haven't posted again, their counter is still at 1, lol!  I really don't think the queue is to blame here.

They made their account in 2007. Doubt they did it just to wait almost 15 years to complain about the current situation.
 
I made mine in 2005, and I have less than 30 posts. Perhaps you'd like to send some snark my way?
 
Bottom line is things are not perfect. People have clearly fallen through the cracks with the queues.

I agree.  The problem is people are basing their expectations on 3rd party spreadsheets that aren't accurate at all.  There are too many holes in them and that gets emotions running high. 
 
The correct way to this is to know EVGA has stated that queueing up for particular SKUs like the XC3 ULTRAs and FTW3 ULTRAs move a lot quicker than the rest of the SKUs in general.  Just patiently wait for it by not thinking about it all the time and keeping your email notifications enabled.

The long con is the best con.

I would argue the queue is a great time saver. You enter and wait for your turn to purchase. It's not like you have to physically be somewhere or otherwise occupied. 
 
Best buy online drops are mostly a waste of time unless you get lucky. Amazon and other retailers that get heavily botted are a waste of time. 
 
 
On the other hand lots of members actually spend time to compile the queue info here  
 
If you're in the wrong queue (that hasn't had updates in a long time) you can just give up. 

How to set up queue? I have account and everything but I don't see queue option under the product. Please help
