Evga 3080 FTW3 Ultra with XOC Bios - i tried first to upgrade than i deinstalled the 1.1.9.0 and installed 1.1.2.0 but the only thing what i can tell is different - the X1 Version number. Nothing changed for me, really. I will try with a power off the pc and see what is happening but just reinstalling nothing changed.

Works just fine, no issues. 2080ti Memory clock at 1200, GPU Clock at 160, voltage 100, Target Power 120 GPU temp limited to 80. Only changes listed were: Release: 5/13/2021 - Default fan speed will be set to 33% when auto mode is disabled.
- In Fan AUTO Mode, TextBox & Slider is disabled and now shows "AUTO" in TextBox
- All NVML.dll search paths are included to fix Resizable BAR detect fail issue.

Mine did not work correctly either. Just went back to…8 until someone fixes it.

that worked last time but after replacing my gpu from 3070 ftw3 ultra to 3080 ftw3 ultra not even DDU helped. Only this small copy/paste from .dll file did fixed the issue. But i confirm, it works like a charme. What i still dont like - when i apply something under custom airflow on the card and switch the tab, the button "apply" lights up again like you can apply something. Also the custom fancurse set goes back from aggressive to normal BUT the CURVE itself doesnt change - it remains aggressive curve but with "normal" as the preset name. something like this. kind annoying. I feel it's more cosmetic issue?

Just tried updating - still getting the missing nvml.dll error.
I've tried the fixes above, but in a strange twist, I don't actually have a NVSMI folder in the location listed above: C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation
In my system32 folder, I did a search and do have an nvml.dll already there - I tried making a NVSMI folder in the above NVIDIA folder, but that didn't work and I still get the same error on loading precision x.
Running a 3090FTW on latest drivers (the ones from two weeks ago) which are WHQL and not DHC or w/e and the latest firmware as flashed by precision x.

More interested in if the resetting RGB and fan profiles are still a problem.

Install a DCH Graphics Driver (a 'Game Ready' driver) instead of the Standard Driver which will install the nvml.dll in the Windows\System32 folder...Go to NVIDIA Driver Downloads -> Beta and Older Drivers -> Windows Driver Type: DCH..Uninstall your current NVIDIA Graphics Driver and install the DCH Graphics Driver..That should fix the nvml.dll error, and if not, copy and paste the nvml.dll into the Program Files\EVGA\Precision X1 folder. See the NVIDIA DCH/Standard Display Drivers for Windows 10 FAQ and other online sources if you search for the difference between the two. Get NVIDIA Control Panel if needed.

This change seems broken on my 3080 FTW3. Fans 1 and 2 will no longer spin down completely. Even when the temps are low and the fan curve tells them to go to 0%, they're stuck at 33%. Fan 3 seems to respond correctly and spin down. The sliders are also broken in the sense that Fans 1 and 2 will only let you drag them down to 33%, but Fan 3 lets you drag it down to 0%. Not sure which is supposed to be the correct thing. Setting the lowest speed to 33% on all 3 fans in the custom curve editor seems fine, and all 3 are now spinning at 33% as the lowest possible speed. But setting Fan 1 and 2 to 0% doesn't work at all. All of this worked fine on 1.1.9.0 or whatever the last version was, I can't keep up with these 4 digit version numbers.

I just installed my 3080 FTW3 ULTRA today, and seen there was 1.2.0 update for PrecisionX, but I had read some users with 3080s updated the BIOS, and had problems after. Now, I'm too afraid to update my BIOS and break my 3080! I'll be keeping an eye out for more info, but I don't want to break what's working fine without P-X.

This is the OC bios default setting expect behavior. Try your Normal bios and you will get 0% fans.

Hi, I upgraded Precision X1 to v1.2.0 and now my graphics card fans will not spin at all. I tried manually settings the fans to 100%, auto, and manual custom curve and the fans will not spin. I have an evga 3070 XC3 Black w/ Game Ready Driver 466.27. Any help is appreciated.

So installing this actually gave me the missing DLL problem. What the f---? Uninstalled and reinstalled 1.1.9 and all is back to normal.
Looks like I'm passing on this version. I've already just accepted at this point that I'll never be able to reliably use the fan extension on the card. I'm starting to think the RGB and fan profiles resetting at random will always be a problem...

I've started getting error messages that state 'a task was cancelled' on startup of PX1. The only thing I can think of that may be causing the error is that PX1 is having issues communicating with the update server.
The timestamp shows that PX1 last checked for an update two days ago (May 17). Doing a manual check takes quite a bit longer than normal, before it too will give the 'a task was cancelled' error message. Clicking 'OK' on that window will then pop up a message about 1.2.0 being the current version, but the 'last checked' timestamp doesn't change.
Everything else appears to be running just fine. I've had no issues with fan control, temps, RGB, etc.. It just looks like there may some sort of issue with contacting the server to check for an update.

Still crashes on Windows 7 x64 SP1; same behaviour as 1.1.8.0 and 1.1.9.0. Last known working version is 1.1.7.0.

Been running for two days now and FINALLY the RGB profile seems to be holding. EDIT: just reset itself now....lasted longer but not fixed.
