They only started production in August. They decided to launch before being able to stockpile

Best way to stop botters is to not buy the stuff.
If everyone did the same they would bot for the first few inventory restocks but realize the product isn't moving and stop immediately.

Buy from only official retailers for the first few months. I know it sucks ( i sold my 2080TI two months ago ) But I will NOT support scalpers.
I will wait until one becomes available from a retailer before I reward a botter.

I hope gamers refusing to buy from scalpers causes the scalpers to just stop buying them. I guess i can hope.

Mandalorian...you have my word.  I will NEVER buy an RTX 3080 from a hardware scalper for the absurd prices they are offering.  If it means I have to wait until even as far as next June to get one at MSRP that's what I'll do.  Out!

My question is how many cards are able to be made daily? That would be interesting.
I would also be interested to see how many cards EVGA has sold on their own site to date or how many cards on average they sell per re-stock.
These are questions that haven't really been answered. I really think the amount of cards has to be tremendously low, but I could be wrong.

What this tells me is what I've been saying all along. Samsung is getting better at production of the NVIDIA GPU chips. This should gradually increase over time.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

If people would just stop buying at the scalped prices they would stop buying up the cards...simple

Everyone always overlooks this simple fact, don't they?

I'm desperate enough right now that I'd pay $1,000 simply because I'm currently without a GPU at all. But I can't see paying $1,200-$2,000 like a lot of them are going for.

Agreed. The only time I have purchased anything is when it is used. Either from a reliable person that I know or amazon but that is well below the MSRP of the original price.

It's encouraging me to post here because I don't qualify despite owning multiple EVGA power supplies at least!

If they double production, there should be at last 25 cards per drop!

In all seriousness though I'm interested to see if/when this stabilizes

I'd love to buy from my local retailer (Canada) but they have received exactly zero EVGA cards so far.

i hope the sellers on ebay arent spending the money they get from these scalped cards.

ebay buyers have 30 days to return an item for basically any reason, even if you list no returns, and ebay will have their back. Have buyers remorse because you spent $1500 on a card 3-4 weeks ago that you can now get for not much trouble for $750? Just submit a claim that it's not as described, you can literally make up anything and ebay will most likely side with you as the buyer. the seller will be forced to take the return, and ebay will straight up pull the money out of your paypal account (whether you have it or not, even going negative in your PP balance if they have to). There's little recourse as a seller in this situation.

Yea, Ebay has always been pro-buyer

Yea Jacob, you've basically been viewed as the GOAT by those of us basically losing sleep over these cards.

Tough to wait and rely on a simple "volume is increasing".  Can you provide any more color to by how much?  Are we talking X% or XX% increase week-on-week?  Is EVGA air freighting the cards or are they shipping them through ports?

What is the allocation for EVGA store versus retailers? It's crazy how few cards retailers have got so far, not just EVGA either.

I doubt they ever publish their figures, but I'd guess they sell more themselves than give to retailers since they make more selling them in house.

I understand they make more money selling them on their site but the amount of frustration it's caused should be a mitigating factor. I'm about to give up on EVGA.
