Precision XOC keeps turning my fan off on my 980Ti i was up to 92c before i thought to check again to see if it was off lucky it didn't burn up what is going on why does it keep doing this?

Let's try maybe fixing it instead..Did you try the latest Standalone Version 6.2.7 yet that has fan curve improvements and other stuff?

Uninstall Precision 6.2.6 and restart your PC..Then delete it's leftover folders/files located in the Program Files (x86)\EVGA folder..Then install the latest version, make your custom changes, close then open Precision again, and roll from there.
 
I think the least buggy version in recent history is Version 6.2.3 that you could try too if no joy.

Few things to try.
 
Reinstall 6.2.6 and Run as administrator when installing, then try uninstalling it..Or try Revo Uninstaller..Or even overinstall 6.2.7..Or use System Restore to go back to before you installed 6.2.6.

Got it all worked out now uninstalled everything shredded the left over stuff with AVG fresh install of the newest version after a few restarts is now saving my settings finally.
