If i exit precision, instead of it holding my settings, it just stops the fans.
Why would you stop precision you might ask?
Because i get a huge rainbow artifact along the left side of the screen when it runs and a 3D application be it a benchmark or black ops4 is running.

But are you just trying to burn down Cards? thank god i have 10 other fans to move air in this case.

If you close Precision it will resume the default card fan curve which may have the fans idle to off
If you turn off "FCAT Overlay" in OSD settings you will not get the multi-color line.

And no, the card will not overheat... it has a built in fan curve and much like an electric fan on a modern card radiator it goes on and off as needed.
As you have an FTW3, you can move the VBIOS switch to "Slave" and the fans will never turn off (when the system is turned on) whether or not Precision XOC is running.

I could have sworn that it used to hold your fan curve, or maybe i didnt use the curve.
Thanks
