The latest Precision XOC software 6.2.4v no longer supports displaying information on non-EVGA branded LCD screen peripherals, such as the Logitech G13 game pad, non-EVGA keyboards, etc.
I highly suspect this is because of EVGA launching their own Z10 keyboard with just such a readout display that does the exact same thing.
If my suspicion is correct, I am greatly disappointed in EVGA's decision. I, for one, prefer my $200+ Corsair keyboard to their Z10, and my Logitech G13 game pad for it's Lua scripting capability. I do not plan to buy EVGA's Z10 keyboard and won't do so to regain this functionality. I rely on my G13 to relay Precision XOC information to me in games where the OSD functionality is blocked, as with such titles as Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands.
Sure, in the short term I can revert back to an order version of Precision XOC, but what good does that do me a year out from now? How about three years out from now? Is the only solution to use outdated software, and loose out on both future software and hardware features? This is very anti-competition and innovation EVGA in my opinion and looks poorly upon your company. As a customer of your graphics cards for generations, this tarnishes your reputation in my opinion and does harm to your respect and loyality from your customers. I wonder if MSI Afterburner displays information to non-MSI branded periferials.... hmmmmm... worth finding out.
I'm hoping I'm wrong about my suspicion and would greatly appreciate someone from EVGA acknowledging this issue as simply a bug which needs to be fixed.
Anyone else experiencing loss of functionality of Precision XOC with non-EVGA brand peripherals?
