I set a custom fan curve for both GPU and Power and no matter how warm the ICX card gets...fans stay at 40%, which is where I have the curve start.  Auto fan control is enabled, but the speed never changes

OK...update.  If I use the pre-determined custom profile built into Precision, then the fans increase speed.  If I set my own curve...no longer work.  Lots of things that are odd with Precision 6.1.1 including the fact that once I enabled the Thermal lights on the card, I can no longer disable them.  The OK button on all menus doesn't work at all.

I just had a similar issue that I just now found my workaround for...

Up to now, no matter what I did trying to set custom fan curves, they would either not save, or the preset would switch to Aggressive when I hit OK. Here's what I did, which seems to work...

    1. Set preset to custom, don't click OK yet (obvious)
    2. Set the two profiles however I want them.
    3. I closed the little fan curve windows manually, THEN hit OK.

Just went back in and out a few times, and it's keeping the settings.  Now I don't have to remember to set it to aggressive when I want to benchmark.

    Have you tried ?
    Removed XOC 6.1.1 then reboot,
then manually remove any leftover directory structure on your HD -in your Program Files directory, then  Reboot
    Now reinstall Precision

Update: My custom curves only "stay" if I leave it on Custom.  If I switch it to Agressive and back, my custom curves are gone; and I did uninstall it, delete the EVGA folder, and reinstall 6.1.1.  *shrug*
