I've discovered that when running Acronis True Image 2021 Active Protection, it will cause X1 to lock up. I have tried adding the evga folder to the exclusion list, as well as the X1 exe file, but it doesn't help. Has anyone found a work around for this by chance? If not, no big deal, I will just have to switch over to Afterburner instead.

Probably the best thing you can do.
Altho Acronis Active Protection is complete junk. They block a few commercial programs I made so I contacted them about it.
They will add your program to the accepted white list if you pay them $149 per year. So really any malware creator could just pay them to have there virus allowed on the accepted list.
They arnt the only so called "Virus/Anti-malware protection" software that does that since they want to make money and what easyer way to make money then charge your clients to use the software then charge software creators to have there software allowed.

Honestly when I started using Acronis years ago it didn't have the Active Protection as part of it. But since I use them for my cloud backups, I don't really want to move away from it. Anyways, I've had a lot of other really strange issues with X1 that keep me from really pushing to use it over Afterburner. Mainly, in the past I had really crazy issues with Microsoft Word and other Office products.

So looks like my issue was resolved. I ended up contacting Acronis and notified them that their software was causing issues with X1. As of this morning, after updating the "Protection" through Acronis, no longer causing X1 to lock up. I'd call that a pretty good win.
