Precision X1 Issues

Hello all, first-time poster here! so take it easy on me.
 
I purchased myself an EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC about 4 months ago and have been loving it ever since upgrading from my gtx 650. I had been using the precision X1 software very minimally until the last couple of months where i have been starting to overclock my GPU some more.
 
My problem is, I was playing with some OC setting yesterday and upon starting my PC back up, I have been unable to launch the precision X1 software, it opens in task manager and then hangs and suspends immediately.
 
I was wondering if anybody could throw some fixes or recommendations out there, I have restarted my pc multiple times, I have uninstalled and re-installed the software multiple times, I have got the latest graphics drivers installed so I'm at a bit of a dead end here.
 
any help is appreciated,

    Try uninstalling the software, then deleting the main install directory, reboot pc, reinstall the software. See if that helps.

    I tried this with no avail, thank you for the suggestion though. Still, haven't managed to get it to open in over a week now.

    HI Thank you for your response, unfortunately, none of that article was helpful.
     
    BUT However, I did manage to FIX my issue!
     
    my changing the install path from my C:\ Drive to my E:\ Drive where I have a secondary "applications" folder for other installs not wanted on my SSD. The Program then launched!!
     
    Hopefully, this could help fix anyone else's issues in the future!
