Precision X1 Freezing/Lockup/Hanging

I have a persistent, recurring issue with Precision X1 eventually getting into a frozen/hanged state after having been running for many hours.  This manifests by noticing that the tray temperature display (still a ridiculously small font, BTW) has disappeared, and when attempting to maximize Precision X1 via the tray icon it appears in the taskbar but never renders its window.  Thus, I use Task Manager to close the process and restart it.
 
This issue happened for me back on Windows 7 (Ultimate 64-bit), and has persisted after upgrading to Windows 10 Professional.
 
Is anyone else having this issue?  And more to the point, is there anything I can do to help diagnose the problem and work towards getting it fixed?

HDD:  3TB
PSU:  eVGA Supernova 850 T2 (new)
OS:  Windows 10 Professional
