Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct section to post this. If not, then I do apologize. I'm geniuley just desperate.
Yesterday, 9/1/2021, I loaded up precision X1 and it prompted me to update the firmware of my display drivers.
I figured, "hey... better safe than sorry". When the update reached 100%, the following error message appeared "Display port firmware update failed, please contact manufacture".
I started to see odd visual bugs and decided to restart my PC. Well, now it won't post.
Every component turns on, the lights, case fans, GPU fan, CPU cooler fans, but the ASUS X570 QLED white VGA error shines away.
I've tried switching PCI slots, removing the CMOS battery, shorting the CMOS through the two metal prongs, Removing the RAM, reseating the CPU, removing the main drive... nothing. I mean geez, if I could get into bios or safe mode I could probably fix it but not posting is extremely worrisome.
The worst part is I just resigned from my job and I start some accelerated online courses on the 21st. My next step is to take my PC to a mutual friend and try swapping GPU's etc. Has anyone had an issue like this? Is there a fix? Would EVGA support replace any components that were affected by the failed firmware update?
My PC Specs:
5900x
Asus X570 wifi plus mobo
32GB Memory
EVGA XC3 3080
Windows 10
Corsair H150i CPU cooler
