I'm sure it's something simple I'm overlooking, but...

I have my game on my main monitor and Precision X1 open on my second monitor. When I'm playing, Precision X1 just shows 0 for frame rate. What do I need to do for it to display my games FPS, but on my second monitor?

Thanks

Wow, 2 years and this has not been solved yet. I'm experiencing the same problem, although I do get an fps reading of 61 fps: my main monitor is a 144Hz with GSYNC, but my secondary monitor is locked at 60Hz. I cannot get Precision X1 to display the current fps on my main monitor...
@Any developers reading this: can you add the option to select the display from which we want to read the fps count? Or maybe let us select the process to read the fps output?

The overlay uses a hook for the application to show information, meaning it will only show on the window that the application/game that you're monitoring. Some games may not work due to anticheat measures blocking the hook method. The information will not show in any other window/screen that the game is not displayed on. I had no issues when testing of the overlay showing my 144fps from my main display, even though I had another 60hz display connected. Make sure that the OSD option is highlighted for any information you want displayed, as shown in the image.

@
Thank you for the explanation. I was running into the issue I described above with Crysis Remastered. I had never encountered that before (though now it seems to have fixed itself). I'm attributing it to some error with Windows (running Win11) or it was pulling information from the wrong application (but still displaying it over Crysis). I used both the Steam and Geforce Experience overlays (independently) to confirm that the game was running at unlocked fps (I have it the fps upper limit set to 141 on the nVidia control panel, with g-sync on).

Now seems to be working fine, since Precision X1 is providing the correct reading for the game. I did not change any of the OSD settings (by default it includes the fps), but I did check to confirm it was selected.

Once again, thank you for the assistance!
