Hey guys,

I was just wondering, when I fire up GTA V I see via EVGA Precision X 80-119 FPS almost everytime. Is it broken?

Specs:
i7 5930K stock
GTX 780 Classified@1300MHz single
RAM 16 GB

I highly doubt, that my PC would be able to run it that well in 1440p.
Settings Ultra/Very High, MSAA 2x

don't think so. I have a GTX750Ti that I overclocked and get pretty much the same FPS in BF4.

If you have two cards in SLI, I think Precision will show double the actual FPS for this game (this Precision bug has been reported or at least hinted at already). If you have only one card (not SLI) the FPS shown by Precision is correct as far as I know (but I can't confirm).

I am also seeing this. Two 670s are in no way getting 120fps on mostly 'very high', especially when in-game benchmark shows 57-60. Plus, I have vsync on and only a 60hz monitor.

I do not see this bug in any other game.

Part of me would be happy, to see such a performance, but on the other hand, I'm a realist.

I know that you only have one 780. You said that in your first post.

I was just pointing it out because I was sure that other people would come in and join the discussion. Like flynn for example... My statement applies directly to him.

It's been a bug in many PX releases. Affects almost all SLI installs.

Me as well.  When playing, the Steam counter shows ~60 FPS while the PreX Hardware Monitor shows anywhere from 120-3000 FPS.  I have 1x 780.

I have just one GTX Titan X and I noticed that EVGA precision is way over calculating my fps in GTA V PC compared to fraps. I came here to research it and found this thread.

    Thanks

I hope it gets fixed sometime.

Good to know, I was wondering why Precision X was showing 120fps when I'm v-sync'd at 60. Started happening when I switched to SLI.

Hi, I have the same issue, about gta 5: I get 60fps with fraps, and 80 to 119 fps with evga precision x..
    (Evga gtx 980)
I hope you will soon update that, because I have a "back to desktop with fraps" (and I prefere precision x, more infos)

    Thanks.

Hate to burst your bubble but its not fixed in the latest release! I had to switch back to MSI afterburner to get a real FPS reading. I hate that too because I like EVGA Precision's setup better. Now it is showing only 30 or 60, Afterburner shows 58-60 like it should. And encase anyone tries to claim 30fps is normal for a 970 on default settings, No it is not. Especially since I get steady 60 in the benchmark. And steady gameplay with no stutter, And Afterburner normally always shows 60fps, And yes I use V-Sync

Ya, I'm using a brand new GTX 1060 SC and Precision X is showing me mostly under 30fps so IDK if the problem is still not fixed.

BTW I am using the Precision X available on Steam

All I mostly use the ODS for is the GPU Temp

Hope they do get it fixed :)
