The game is unable to start when the Precision application is running. It just loads the splash art and crashes, as soon as you close Precision application it runs like nothing. What would be causing this to happen? I wanna be able to run my card at full throttle playing Forza but if my Precision application closes it just goes to stock settings on the card.

My Setup
Intel Core i9 14cores 3.10ghz
EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 TI FTW3 ICX

Are you running Windows 10 1809?
Set your OC in PXOC and then Exit PXOC and see if the game will run.
Another Thread XOC causing game to crash even when not overclocking might give you a hand as well.

Static fan speeds and overclocks stay applied even with xoc closed, so set what you need then close precision. Monitoring system temps while gaming isn't needed on a properly functioning system.

Unless you have a Z10 KB and want to display the GPU and CPU Temperatures on the LCD.

You asked me before about negative Posts, I think your last comment was not needed and unnecessary coming from an EVGA Forum Moderator.
This assumes that the OP does not have a properly functioning system.

"What I said is a fact." That's debate-able. What you said was a little douchey. If XOC was properly maintained this wouldn't be a problem would it? I always have problems having XOC open when playing games so it's not the games fault.... *shrug*

Precision compatibility could definitely be better, but it is what it is until evga makes it better.

I got a solution... finally. I had this exact issue and fixed it by: Deleting EVGA Precision XOC 6.2.7, restarting and downgrading to version 6.2.3, now Forza no longer crashes. 6.2.6 crashes it along with 6.2.7 but 6.2.3 is the latest version that doesn't crash Forza. Sad how nobody has found an answer for this BS yet, fix your stuff EVGA
