2003 VW GTI 1.8T modded daily driver dynoed to 275hp 330lbs ft tq runs 13.1 in the 1/4. and it gets 35mpg on the fwy.
this pic was before i redid the suspension.
Your car isn't doing 13.1 in the 1/4 mile, sorry to bust your bubble but that would be lucky to get 15.
With the specs listed the car should be able to run the 1320 in 13 or better. My cobra has 300+ RWHP and 300+ RWTQ (dynoed a few years back at 290, before I got to work  ) and runs 13.5s at full weight (3600 lbs with driver,) that little VW weighs quite a few pounds less. I would like to know what hes done to get that kind of HP. Of course I get quite a few less MPGs though....

  walked into the dealer sat down next to it, few hours later it was mine ^_^ long stoy short i crashed the car i got for my g/fs birthday (have pictures if you wanna see them) so we got this in its place (safer,bigger,good in the snow)

You are totally right those GTIs are pretty crazy, and they put the power down very well. If the gti was stock, yeah, he'd probobly be doing 15s, but even with minimal mods those VWs have a VERY flat torque curve, excellent enthusiast cars. My next car is likely to be one of the new TTs. I'd have an R32 if they came in not-hatch.

Do you even know what percentage of a vehicle is required to be manufactured and assembled in the U.S. to receive the "Made in America" stamp? Do you have any idea how many vehicle parts are manufactured in foreign countries for American made vehicles, shipped here, and then assembled? Can you prove that every part on your 1998 Ford F-150 is manufactured here in the U.S. (which I still don't see a picture of in your post)? Have you done any research on the subject at all....or are you just spouting off a bunch emotional BS?

This is a picture of what i have. I can't get on image hosting sites at work to post pics of my actual car. 2009 G8 GT silver with tinted windows, Varram intake, SLP loudmouth exauhst. Up next some headers and rims. Stock it runs about 365hp and 365lbs of torque. Not sure what it will be at once i get the headers and tune.

I decided that I wanted to address your question, then ignore any further comments that you may have, so that this thread can get back on topic..which is vehicles. My avatar means more to me than you can imagine. I am a retired United States Marine...and I am extremely proud of that fact. Does that make me better than anyone else?....NO, it does not. I spent the majority of my younger life in the Corps, and I would not change any of it. Does that mean that I go around shouting the mantra of the Corps to all that are within earshot?...., no it does not...there is an inner pride that I carry with me about my choosing to serve this great country of ours that I will carry that inner pride quietly to my grave.
