So after a successful initial boot, XMP set to enabled, and a windows install, I'm getting the post code 55. I tried the old one stick of ram trick. I get one boot and then it's post code 55. I tried clearing the CMOS, same issue. One boot then post code 55. Same when I updated the BIOS. Aside from RMA-ing the RAM are there any other suggestions you all may have? I'm also curious to know what RAM you all are using in your EVGA x570 boards. RAM I have is: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 Model Number: F4-3200C14D-16GVK

Update: Tried a stick from my Threadripper build. Same issue. Thinking the board is toast.

Make sure your cpu cooler isn't on too tight.

It's finger tight as usual. But I'll double check to be sure.

Didn't touch a thing and now I'm getting post code 73 South Bridge DXE Initialization (South Bridge module specific).

Me and a friend did just that. Said it out loud, did it. Both he and I are at a loss. Side note: Thinking out loud has saved me in the past as I've caught things that I've skipped over.

Rotate one stick of ram from your DIMM set and see if errors occur with each stick.

Done that. Also tried known good Ryzen compatible RAM. Same issue. As an aside, I'm trying to open a ticket with EVGA to RMA the motherboard. But I can't because when I try to submit a ticket, the website is throwing an error stating: "Access Denied - You don't have permission to access" If anyone from EVGA is viewing, please let me know what I can do to help get a ticket created.

To update I've RMA'd the board and am waiting for the replacement to arrive.

Final update on this. I've tried RMA'ing the motherboard and the CPU as well as 3 different sets of known good RAM and I'm still getting post errors. What's happening is I get the initial post screen, then I reboot and get post code errors. I started with 56-57, and then I started getting 76 before the RMA'ing the motherboard. Got the same errors after RMA'ing the motherboard, so I RMA'd the CPU. After receiving the new CPU I then I got code 44. It was at that point I ordered brand new RAM. Same error as before. Code 44. I don't know what the deal is. I've built computers for over a decade and never had this much trouble. I hope you all have better luck than I did with this board.

That's not a fun experience. What are the voltages from the Dark's "Probeit" header?
