Possible to use external GPU?

Hi, i was just wondering if its possible to use an external GPU with a SC17 1070 laptop?

    Sure why not? You got USB Type C and Mini Displayport. So you should be able to use an external GPU.
    Btw why you need an external GPU, when you already got a GTX 1070? With these external GPUs you are never going to get the same performance if it were an internal one.

    It does not have Thunderbolt, so not easily. Could possibly work though one of the internal m.2 slots with an adapter but probably not what you are looking for.

    Ah ok, had a 1080ti lying around and would of been nice to test it out. This laptop only has 1 m.2 slot and thats where my OS is installed so cba with that.

    Yes you absolutely can us an external GPU.
     
    They even have GPU cases for that  !!
