Picture of ASUS X470 ROG “Hybrid” motherboard leaks out

Although there are no signs of the Strix branding on the motherboard, the rear I/O cover and the 8+2 phase VRM resemble the ones used on the ASUS ROG Strix X370-F Gaming motherboard.

    That I/O cover is huge!! and for what reason...... I also see that the whole X299 VRM cooling issue did not affect future development not that a mainstream platform is a major issue for VRM Cooling but still.....

    As long as your popular enough, you can get away with anything.

    They definitely do. I will be curious to see the final retail to see if this "leak" is somewhat true. I hope a I/O Cover that large has a purpose that looks good as well. Kind of like on the Zenith Extreme where they placed a small fan next to a heatsink/heatpipe for VRM Cooling help
