Number 1
This new way people try to explain away some stupid thing they have done by saying " Yea But ..." and then telling you why " They Thought it was ok "  like it's going to change the fact they made a mistake , or they were wrong or they did not know what they were doing.   Just say " sorry I MADE A MISTAKE " or " I don't know " , what's wrong with that ?

Number 2
My wife keeps saying "What" when I talk even though she hears me perfectly

Tailgating drivers on their cell phones, with no clue what they are doing. Many times I have had an urge to let them eat my bumper. Sometimes it's a good thing I have a passenger.

Haha! I can relate to this one, Bob: Just let a friend borrow my shop to replace the engine in his C4 Vette. It was quite frustrating..and exactly like you described.

1-All's you gotta do is,,,,,,, is one of mine. Not quite sure why it gets under my skin.
2-Fog lights in my eyes when there is no fog.
3-Drivers texting/ not using turn signals.
4-Waiters/waitresses unable to get an order correct especially when it is only an order for one person. Me ordering a burger, "extra , extra pickles".
Receipt says no pickles. Facepalm.
5- I have a couple of coworkers that do the following. I start to ask a question or give a direction and am interrupted with "what happened?" , double facepalm.

I can actually type pet peeves all night but listing pet peeves is a pet peeve of mine so I will leave it at that with one additional, 6-people who write/text in caps! Going to look for some kind of 12 step program now. Hi, I'm str1d3r and I have a ton of pet peeves.

Oh boy forgive me I have a fair number. Here is a smattering of the ones that first come to mind.

When nature documentaries tell the audience that x item on y animal is "razor sharp" when infact it many times couldn't be more dull. No no, David Attenbourough, I can assure you the antlers and hooves on a white tail deer are infact quite damn dull.

Poorly configured traffic lights.

Messy workspaces. I have one coworker that at some point is just gonna dissapear amongst the crap in his office.

Having to reverse engineer how a company's product works. So you can explain the actual functionality to the support guy who has no clue how a device actually functions. All because they limit what access you can have to the product. I swear my job continues to be more and more of this.

Giant knee space robbing center consoles in any vehicle.

People who use the phrase "My Bad"

Having to spell out my name for people on the phone. I swear some day I am gonna change my name to Di Li just so I don't have to spell out a 20 character last name that has extra letters in it just to mess people up.

Sites and services that limit password length to just 16 characters. Or have a specific list of special characters you can use. (Looking at you Microsoft!)

Can I just go general with Windows Updates.

Applications that lie to you about progress. No your software is not 100% installed if it's been sitting on 100% for 10 minutes.

Places that cheap out on drive type and ram just to get an I7 badge. Great that CPU is sitting at 0% cause we can't feed it data at a reasonable rate from the SPINNING DISK.

Paving companies that some how manage to rip up a road and pave it back rougher than it was before it was worked on.

Roadwork that spreads on for 10s of miles sometimes 30-50 miles and there is 1 crew of like two guys at one location in all of the 50 miles.

Roadwork where they close more lanes than needed. Cough Georgia Cough. Who closes three lanes of a 4 lane road to work on the shoulder!? GDOT that's who.

People who let the dog Yap outside for hours on end. Give that poor thing some stimulation so I can enjoy my yard.

X399 Designare EX, Threadripper 1950x, Dual 960 EVO 500gb Raid 0 bootable, Quad Channel 64gb DDR4 @ 2933/15-16-16-31, RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra, Corsair RM850x, Tower 900

2. Copying someone else's pet peeve
3. inconstant period usage.
4. lists
5. irony
6. self-referencing irony
7. people who don't really know what irony is but don't care
8. meta-self-referencing irony

As a more honest answer, people who complain about drop rates, and think it's broken because it's not consistent with what they think the odds are as odds over a series of attempts (which to be fair isn't something that matches most people's expectation)
