Hi all I was wondering if anybody would have any idea if  I put a https://www.amazon.com/Sa...BW/dp/B01639694M  in my second pci-2.0 x16 slot
would be to much considering I have a 1080 ti in the first 2.0 X16 slot. I believe the ti has that first 16 lane flooded. Would it slow down the ti?

I hope you're not going to pay that price for that drive!!!
You can get them off ebay for less that half that.

Double check your MB manual and see if adding a device to that PCIE would cut the GPUs slot down to x 8
Most often it will not. Not sure about that exact MB Does it say SLI in 16 x 16, or 16 x 8, or 8 x 8
I would go ahead and install it anyway, these 950pro are quite fast.
    Good luck.

X58 provides 36 pci-e lanes. Running the m.2 in another pci-e slot via adapter won't slow the 1080 ti down.

Sweet ya its full 16 x 16 on those two lanes.  I'm just waiting to see if another pci-e m.2 will will work :/  Patience lol I've had her for a long time a little more research and I'm sure I'll be able to punch thru the 1gig barrier

The HyperX predator PCIE drive works, 50% faster than a regular SSD but it is not ad fast as the pro950.
    I picked up a 240gb for 100$ or so on ebay, same price I for a 240gb 950pro

A little late, but this is the one I use. I have a couple of these. 20$ is not bad either.
