Does anyone use a ps2 slot for their mouse? If so what mouse are you using, and do you think it's worth the extra cost?

    Hello Jpace,
It depends on what you're looking for with your setup, if you're asking in terms of gaming or standard computer use, there is no real need for PS2 mouse now a days as USB mice have shown in multiple categories to be pretty superior to PS2 mice. Unless you're using an older motherboard im not sure going for a PS2 mouse would even worth it now a days.

I've just heard people say that PS2 mice have a better communication rate then USB I know there's a few streamers who claim to use PS2 so I was just interested to know. I was also of the belief that USB was better (especially considering 8k polling rates nowadays)

This has been debunked and tests have proven that using USB to PS2 will greatly reduce performance when compared to modern keyboards and mice that are connected directly via USB.
