Overclocking the X5690 with EVGA x58 Classified 3

I just got the combo and want to OC it. How would you suggest me to do it like what should be the numbers and such. Can you guys share? 
I wanna get it to ~4.2 for 24/7 use. 4.5 if possible.

    best way is to up the multiplier and raise the b-clock, stock is 133mhz so try 145 b-clock and 29 multi or 140x30, both give 4.2GHZ, add some voltage and test. the IMC in those early chips can be some what picky with ram speeds and amounts, try to use only three slots if possible.

    May have to raise the VVT to +150, That is 1.35V I would not go over that with the Westmere CPU
    Try to keep the CPU voltage to 1.35 or less
    Try 25 x 168 = 4.2ghz
    Set the uncore to 2x ram speed or a step below.
    Run the ram at 14-1600 for now. and see  if it is stable.
    Can set IOH and ICH to 1.2

    so many tweaks on those boards, i used to spend hrs of adjusting and testing now its just raise the multi and add some voltage and thats about it
