Interesting about the temps. Is the terminal you are running a parallel or series terminal? If it's parallel then I think you should redo the block on the hot card.

That explains some of the difference, but probably only 2-4 degrees. I'd still probably redo the hot block.

There will always be a warmer block from a cooler block in Serial as opposed to Parallel where you get closer to equal temps. As for leak testing, not just outside the rig but also inside once everything is put in place where they're suppose to. Use some shammies or papertowls and leak test for about 24 hours is usually a good amount of time. As for the cloudy tubing, make sure you're maintaining the loops fluids and there isn't anything else going on with it. Usually a good tear down to check the blocks is a good idea so you're sure there's no buildup and it isn't spreading to the rest of the gear. I would recommend PrimoChill Advanced LRT tubing and some Aquacomputer's clear DP Ultra fluid or fluid from other reputed custom watercooling companies.

PrimoChill Advanced LRT tubing I use (Walmart brand) distilled Water (UV, micro filtered, ozonation) with Primochill Liquid Utopia as the biocide With a new loop, it could be a stubborn air bubble causing some of your temp variation Are you running pumps at max flow ? Might need to tip your rig some more to work out more trapped air bubbles

GTXJaclBauer, Cool_GTX: thank you both for your recommendations. I want to replace all the tubing and refill the loop with the biocide additive. Will probably do it in a couple weeks. In the meantime will run the pump on "5" and shake the case some more to try and get rid of a stubborn bubble.
I did test with the paper towels inside for a day and noticed a tiny leak in one of xspc 135 angle elbows. That's the second one of those i would be replacing (specifically the 135; never had a problem with 90 angled and have about a dozen of them). Could you recommend any better / more reliable brand than xspc?

Anytime. When it comes to soft tubing fittings, the premium brand I use are Bitspower. Over the course of 5+ years, I maybe have had 1-2 leaks from them and replaced. That was of course during a upgrade period and not randomly months or years down the line. Most of the fittings I've just replaced their O-rings every few years.

Been happy with EK fittings PrimoChill also sells "Sys Prep" - loop cleaner - (mine came with my PrimoChill Advanced LRT tubing in the box) FYI: Do Not add "Silver Coil" with Primochill Liquid Utopia as the biocide

Adding a silver coil to any nickel related block, especially from EK since they've warned about this, isn't a good idea, let alone the oxidization on copper blocks. I've since left the distilled and silver coil world and joined the clear premix folks from Aquacomputer. Works like a charm so far.

I've used EK and Bitspower and even some cheap Monsoon brand compression fittings, "T's" and plugs on all my connections and in 4 years I've never had a leak that I know of. But I don't use any elbow, angled or swivel fittings and I replace the O-Rings at least once a year. Guess I've been lucky. I think most of it is because I change the O-Rings regularly and all straight fittings. Seems I hear about most leaks coming from 90's/elbows angled and especially swivel fittings so I stay away from them.

The leaks I've had were actually angled fittings too. I remember one in particular in the lower chamber was a 90 degree fitting. Seems it had a broken seal internally which I couldn't do much about, But overall, I have lots of other angled fittings 30s, 45s, 60s and 90s that are still going strong, some if not most for 5+ years now.

Very happy with everything. Idles around 22-23C. Load is 40C. Ambient room temp is around 22-23C. Was able to OC to +150 on the core which is about 2037MHz. +200 and Unigine 4.0 began to freeze. Also did +200 on the memory which is 11400MHz.

Done. It was fun putting the blocks on, almost more than using them. Looks a little empty compared to four 780 classified Hydro's. Thanks for all the help.

Just did mine yesterday too. I wont' be installing it in the system until this weekend as I plan on changing some other items like the reservoir, one of the radiators, and adding a light box so I'd rather do this all at once with the rigid tubing. Anyway, here it is for now.

Best premium thermal pads a person can buy hands down. Where did you find them since I don't have a stable etailer around as I used to. I use them with heatsinks that I put together on a M.2 drive.

They are available on Amazon and PPCs. I used the alphacool M.2 heatsink kit, but I'm wondering if these would be better thermal pads than what alphacool provided.

I got mine from FrozenCPU, since i needed the large sheet as i was replacing the thermal pads on my laptops heat sinks as well. But last i checked Amazon also has these pads available in the smaller sizes with same day / one day delivery for Prime. Even PPCs has these, but they dont seem to stock the smaller sheets some times. TheWizardMan

To be honest, the Fujipoly pads works the best when the heatsink/contact surface is large and clamps down with a decent amount of pressure. For example, on my laptops giant Vapor Chamber heat sink ( this one), these pads dont help much since the mounting pressure isnt that high, for scenarios like this the Arctic 6 W/mK ones are more than good enough. Same case if you wish to use them with M.2SSD's . I have 2 x 960 Pro's running in there and without a heat sink as well as a fan actively blowing heat away, they dont do anything. But that same alphacool M.2 heat sink on a desktop motherboard and with a fan blowing air on it, might actually see improvement in temps with these pads. But nothing too dramatic. So might as well save some money and get the Arctic one.

How do people measure the vrm and vram temp to verify the fujiploy pads are actually providing better performance? I see fujiploy's numbers, but I dont think I have seen actual numbers from gpu's posted.
I stopped buying fujiploy after ordering a few sets from performance pcs, they came preloaded with dust and grime.. I was Furious about them arriving in that condition. I didnt even open the packaging because you could see the dust through the plastic case.

Im using a few thermocouples (K-Type) i had from a when i was into LN2 cooling/benching, used 2 of those and a few that came with my motherboard. Did before and after reading, and calibration by dipping them into ice water / boiling water. I have been bought the Fujipoly pads from FCPU and Amazon , and never had that issue. But i do agree with you, they are not worth the cost for most general uses. But for GPU's using water blocks they helps quite a bit. How high the clocks go, will totally depend on the silicon though. But the lower temps help in sustaining higher clocks. Here is a thread from a while back - http://www.overclock.net/...grade-vrm-temperatures
