Original Product and Replacement SN the same

I sent my 2080 ti in for RMA a few days ago and it got sent back today. The website shows that the previous and replacement SN are the same, which confused me. Is this just an error or was the RMA declined or something?

    After checking your RMA I can confirm we sent out a replacement and not the same card. The replacement will have a new serial which will be automatically registered to your account. Let us know if you need anything else!
