Very nice. Took close to the same time for mine. Definitely better than the prior batch wait times. It's crazy how impatient people get though. I mean it is a tiny business building boutique computer parts. Some of the best parts made mind you.

Doesnt matter if theres 10,000 employees or 1, saying ship out times are 1-2 weeks and people are waiting months is not how you run a business. You be dirrct with customers and give a real wait time.

We all know their communication sucks. The product makes up for it in my opinion. Just go get your refund and be done with it. 

Communication is part of running a business. Being a good product doesnt make up for poor customer service.

I got mine and installed! Just my own personal experience on my loop - I am not seeing a big difference between the Optimus block and the EKWB block .. but with the major caveat that I did not use EK's thermal pads so it's not a straight solution comparison. I do see some different between the two in favor of the Optimus and if I were in a position where I needed a new block, I would absolutely go for the Optimus. However I do not see the difference enough for anyone whom already has an EK block to switch. However given the silicon lottery and varying loop configurations, your mileage may vary. But, the Optimus is absolutely better.
 
Just to focus on the Optimus block. I love it. The backplate being all high quality thermal padding is impressive. I also consider the Optimus block the easiest gpu waterblock I've ever installed. 

• There are 3 different screws it comes with and are color coded in the instructions very clearly.. but also where you use them is very clear. I.e. when installing the backplate, there is one screw you use for that whole step. 
• With the black plate being covered entirely in thermal padding, it completely eliminates the step of cutting & placing thermal pads on the back... and also eliminates the possibility of bad mounting and leading to a possible short on the back. 
• I appreciated having to install the backplate first.

Just because people keep asking: My optimus block keeps the GPU at 9-10 C above water temp under all loads (maximum temp after 1hour of continous Port Royal Bench 45C vs 36C water)! Great product!

I am getting similar results if not a little better. The thing is a beast!

What coolant is everyone running with this block? Thinking of doing a clear premix from EK. I've always done distilled and silver coil in the past.

I use the EK cryofuel clear. I get the concentrate and mix with distilled water. It's a lot cheaper from titanrig directly than it is to get off of amazon.

Thanks.  Just ordered 4 bottles of concentrate myself.  Shipping is a little steep ($13.15 for the cheapest, which is USPS 2nd day to Virginia), but spread across 4 bottles, not too bad.

You're welcome. TitanRig sells the same stuff on Amazon for 20 a bottle. Much better price direct from them. I picked up a couple fittings I needed at the same time to help justify the $10 shipping.

Im getting similar results with it at 31-32 degrees with water temp of 24-25degrees.

Well, it has now been 5 weeks and a day since I place my order back on 3/5 and got the message:
 
"we're getting your order ready to be shipped.  We will notify you when it has been sent."
 
So far not a peep from Optimus...
