For those who say they don't have coil whine, how did you test it?

I load up a bench I know will load the card. I ran FC5, Superposition, and realbench. Then I put my head right down next to the case. I tested both of may cards individually before I hook them up for NVlink to get an idea of which one I want as the primary GPU for non-SLI titles.

Well in that case I don't have whining either. The thing is why I asked the question, is because in around 80 % of the cases I had, coil whining started at a specific fps amount and also depending on what game/benchmark. Some cards don't have it at all and some have it even in low fps cases.
My 1080 Ti's I frist had from Asus had it already starting at low fps like 60/70ish, back then I used a Soundcard which transfered the interferences to the headphones. I've then bought two 1080Ti from EVGA, which had non coil whine at all, well at least not untill like 300 fps mark, which is not a real use scenario. This happens like with every generation. 
But like with the 1080 Ti's from Asus, thats a rare case for me, usually it's like I said at a specific fps threshold the whining begins.
 
For me I will keep both of my 2080 Ti's, whining is only after 160 fps, and I only need a maximum of 144.
 
Would be interesting of others share their fps at which they experience coil whining.
