If someone pays 60 dollars for a game they should get the whole game, no loot boxes, no micro transactions and defiantly not make it a gamble for content.
Well the heat is coming on to EA this release. Honestly I want to see them torched.

Didn't you know, we shouldn't dare question what greedy game publishers do.  We should just accept it, be good cows for them to milk.

Or they could stop with the loot boxes and be ethical. You pay 60 dollars for a game you get the full game, and get real DLC expansions instead of the rest of the game that you already paid for.

Does anyone think EA wouldn't find a new way to get the money if we banned micro transactions? They would just release DLC that can be used in the original game that would make DLC owners clean the floor with people who stay with the base game unless they want to grind for hundreds of hours and it would be perfectly legal. Just a simple fact that EA doesn't becomes a good publisher because they are forced to change loot boxes. They will find a new way to make that same cash.

Only because the consumer has allowed them to get away with it for so long.

Games with loot boxes should be rated Adult.

Nc17 is the same thing, but parents are too stupid and let their kids do whatever they want. I can see why this is rated teen, since there is no blood, but the micro transactions should definitely rate it as adult because of needing a credit card.

Console manufacturers don't allow adult rated games which is why I think rating them as such would stop the practice cold, or at least for awhile until they figure out a work around that is. Nothing to do with parents any longer. Instead use the ESRB and the tyranny it brings to the industry to actually work in favor of gamers rather than just to be for show while being overtly obnoxious to consumers. e.g. age gates.......

Loot boxes in games will be banned in the EU soon. Belgium has ruled on it and well EA has caused the hammer to drop.

I can't see EA not having a team of people figuring out how to get around this. My guess is instead of selling loot boxes they will sell XP boosts instead so you earn a chance at a loot box faster. That way they are getting around "gambling for money" and instead the gamer is buying a item of value.

Hopefully it ends up doing something about Valve loot crates that require you to buy a key to unlock them.  Young kids are spending a ton of money gambling that way.

I see a big hammer coming down on stuff like that, the only way around it is to sell items out right. In turn I see consumers boycotting even harder.

I wouldn't have a problem with them selling items outright, long as they keep the prices reasonable. The loot crates are way too easy for publisher to rig it to allow them to hit the revenue percentage they want.

Good job EA and other companies you just got big brother involved on a world stage. They have been dying to get into the video game market to censor it for years. You just may had given them the door to do it.

They already do in BF1 with each new DLC theres new weapons that play better than the previous models that you can play in the base game.If you don't buy the DLC you don't get the new weapons.
EA has battle packs you can buy that have skins in them. You're never sure whats in them, if your trying for a certain skin your just gambling. Skins do not change game play they're just a visual item.

The sooner Valve gets back to making actual games the better. They are the ones that normalized this garbage gambling in games and that is all their games are now. All they do is play middle man for gamblers in gaming. This is Valve's contribution to PC gaming and it's total garbage.
