Pretty self explanatory. What is the oldest piece of hardware in your computer?
Building my rig back in 2012, I'm still running a 3770k Ivy Bridge CPU (1155 socket) with an SLI set-up of Gigabyte GTX 670's...
Still rocking DDR3 memory as well.
Anything older than that? I'm free to open this up to any hardware you have lying around. Might make things more interesting.

Oldest currently installed and running part (since 2005) is a Creative X-Fi card

My entire rig (Mods Rigs) is from 2009 minus the DDR3 ram and 1080Ti SC2

I just checked your rig out. Not bad for being built so long ago. Just googled what a i7 920 is.
I've always considered getting a sound card, but I have a Fiio E10K dac that I already have.

I have yet to go to water cooling. Probably gonna start with an AIO though and work up to a custom loop after that.

I still need to get myself a UPS. I have a normie surge protector but have been wanting to get one. Just need a reputable one without reviews stating they are going to catch on fire.

When I made my build initially, I had a NZXT switch 810 case. I recently got the hyper beast H440 case though when they became available since I didn't need such a large case. I like the art on it too.

I guess my old Logitech speakers. I don't give much thought to them really I guess. Then I also have a Blu-ray drive I bought an external encloser for to give me a way to play older games.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

Difficult to say the oldest, but here are a couple of oldies I'm using:

    1) Logitech G15 keyboard.

I use an old AMD 2600 videocard in one of my servers and a 8800GT in another, rather than onboard video.
    Also use a x-fi sound card, i7-3970k, sniper DDR3 1866,
Going to put back in service a couple 1tb IDE drives in a RAID for backups. Flat ribbon cables and all.

Ultra x3 1000watt power supply. I think it's from 2008. It's been a real Workhorse and never had a problem.

I think it'd be nice to configure a raid set-up one of these days. Although I want the benefits of Raid 0 and 1. Not sure I'm ready to get two extra drives and raid hardware for a Raid 5 setup.
Then again that's just my desktop so that might be overkill too. I've never had to deal with flat ribbon cables, only SATA.

    Hmm ok my turn :D

Oldest piece of hardware in my setup currently is easy, its a Promise ATA66 Ultra card I use to connect IdE drives to my ryzen for data recovery, its tied with my Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2 both are from 1999 lol. My USB Floppy drive is from 2000 but also old.

Now I do have something quite old running as a retro system.
