Provides the optimal gaming experience for DiRT 4 and Nex Machina.
 
 
The two most important fixed issues in version 382.53:
 
[DirectX 11 games]: On some titles, in-game V-Sync does not work if Fast Sync is selected from the NVIDIA Control Panel. Consequently, the game frame rate is not locked to the maximum refresh rate, resulting in possible tearing.
[SLI][GeForce GTX]: The secondary display remains blank after switching from Clone or Extended mode to secondary-only display mode.

    Drivers for Dirt 4 essentially.  I have read that the game actually supports SLI.  Can't wait to find some info on how well SLI is actually supported in Dirt 4.

    But that graphical corruption in mass effect still isn't fixed.

    Just had an issue with this driver. I just installed 2 1080Ti SC2 hybrids, downloaded this driver from the nvidia website.  Ran it and it threw the following error.   "This version of nvidia installer is not compatible with this version of Windows" (I'm running windows 7)  "No compatible graphic card is found."   That confused me as I just installed these cards. I thought maybe there wasn't enough power so I checked the 8 and 6 pins, all good. Then I thought maybe the PCIe slots were bad??  Was going to moved the cards when it struck me, try an earlier version.  So I downloaded 382.33    Ran it and it found the cards and installed without any problems. So I can't tell if the installer from Nvidia was bad or if you have to have a previous version of a nvidia driver such as 382.33 to use the newest installer but I'll leave this here just incase anyone else runs into this problem.  Cards are running fine now under 382.33

    Did you enter your operating system when you downloaded the drivers because it gives you the option to chose windows 7 64-bit

    Yes, everything was correct on the selection.  When it kicked out the results for possible installer I skipped the newest and went with the second one and everything worked correctly so not sure what was wrong with the newest, maybe something got corrupted in the download or maybe something with the installer itself but either way I got it up and running.

    Didn't work for me and neither did 382.33.  Allow me to explain, at first I thought .33 was working but I had some wonkey results gaming from time to time.  Then I realized when I right clicked my desktop to open Nvidia Control Panel the application (Nvidia Control Panel) would crash.  Completely unable to open it from the right click on desktop or from the start button. 
     
    So I tried these 382.53 drivers hoping for a resolution but no luck, still the same nvidia ctrl panel crash.  Games and applications will still run and the problem may not be evident to you but check it out.  I ran 33 for several weeks until I discoverd the control panel problem.  This may have been what was causing periodic game crashing.  I won't know for sure until I run that game to see if the issue has gone away.  However, not being able to open Nvidia Control Panel is a show stopper.
     
    I have gone back to 378.78 and now have no problems opening Nvidia Control Panel.

    well, i'm glad i don't download drivers before looking here first, because i now know not to download these drivers. Nvidia really better get on the ball before Vega comes around, and hope they stink.
