Odd not finding this driver http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx or http://www.geforce.com/drivers
Snipes7 Do you have a link for Windows 7 x64 and x86? Thanks

Change the Numbers for a different driver, I Guess a new way of finding drivers.

    http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/382.33/382.33-win10-win8-win7-desktop-release-notes.pdf

This release supports the following APIs:
Open Computing Language (OpenCLTM software) 1.2 for NVIDIA® KeplerTM, MaxwellTM, and PascalTM GPUs
    OpenGL® 4.5
    Vulkan® 1.0
    DirectX 11
DirectX 12 (Windows 10, for Kepler, Maxwell, and Pascal GPUs)

    Increasing 4-way SLI/Multi-GPU Performance
    Issue:
With some games and applications, you may experience little to no performance gain or even a performance drop with 4-way SLI or multi-GPU configurations.
    Resolution
1 Open the NVIDIA Control Panel, then click Manage 3D Settings from the navigation pane.

2 Click the Global Settings tab, then scroll to the Power management mode feature, click the corresponding list arrow and select Prefer maximum performance, then click Apply.

GPU Runs at a High Performance Level (full clock speeds) in Multi-display Modes
This is a hardware limitation with desktop and older notebook GPUs, and not a software bug. When multiple displays are connected and active, the GPU will always operate with full clock speeds in order to efficiently drive multiple displays–even when no 3D programs are running.

    1280 × 1024 @ 60 Hz Not Available on BenQ FP241W Monitors
Even though the monitor EDID lists 1280 × 1024 @ 60 Hz, the screen turns blank when using an HDMI connection. This is an issue with the monitor and not the NVIDIA driver.
Because of this issue with the monitor, the NVIDIA driver blocks the problem mode (1280 × 1024 @ 60 Hz) and makes it unavailable.

Changing Primary Display Across SLI GPUs Slower Than Expected
    Issue
On an SLI system, switching the primary (or SLI focus) display when each display in the SLI group is connected to a different GPU takes longer than expected.
    Explanation
On an SLI system with each SLI GPU driving a display, the display connected to the slave GPU is the primary display (also the SLI focus display). In order to switch the primary display to the one connected to the other GPU, the master and slave GPU configuration must also switch. In order to reassign which GPU is the master and which is the slave, the driver must be reloaded. It is the process of reloading the driver that takes the additional time.

Not so pleased with the performance on these new 381+ version drivers. 378.78 felt more optimized/stable for me. Just read the release notes.

I'll try it out, if not that much better I'll go back to 378.78. Nvidia doesn't recommend rolling back drivers, they recommend you  use windows Add/Remove programs. You could use DDU as well.

Yep because I'm currently on a Asus Strix since I didn't want to wait any longer for the FTW3 to come into stock. But scorewise it doesn't matter what card you have. When overclocked to what the pascal chip is capable of, all of these cards with aftermarket coolers perform pretty much the same anyways give or take 1% for individual chip quality. It's just how this architecture works this time around. They all hit the same wall. The only differences that seperate the cards is the cooler and some fancy features.

Edith: Looking at your results, the combined score on the AMD system seemed to be pretty low despite the physics score being pretty good. What Ram do you use? There seems to be an issue with timings /frequencies. Or 3DMark doesn't quite like AMD's new platform.

I agree although i haven't had one game crash with this driver.

What i would like to know is what the hell is Allow experimental features in GFE on the general tab?...i have that unchecked because i do not know what it does or is associated with.

On top of all these social features Geforce Experience 3.0 brings in Gamestream Co-op. This allows players to not only broadcast to friends, but also play co-op and let friends take control of the game as well. Though, Henry@Nvidia over on the GeForce forums notes that this is still classified as an experimental feature, even though the beta started almost exactly a year ago. To enable this option “Allow experimental features” must be enabled from the settings menu. Gamestream Co-op and these other Gamestream Experience Share features are also available now on Optimus enabled notebooks.

Ahhh, okay, well i hope it has to do with those two things or things of that nature and not what my browser is searching or looking for my shoe size or some crap like that, still gonna leave it unchecked as well as turn off telemetery in services.

now that i have done a reboot and checked my install of this new driver i now see two options to access the nvidia control panel when i right click the GFE icon in the taskbar.

I was able to get a slightly higher FS score with this driver so no complaints here.

I am guessing a bad thing if you want to run games that use Vulkan, like the new Doom.

No problems here. Functions in term of performance and all metrics are the same as the last driver. This includes 3DMark Firestrike, and DX12 tests plus many hours of gaming. (I installed as soon as it was released.) Basically a non event for me.

Installed this driver a few days ago and so far no issues. I've actually had a good improvement with results in Timespy and Firestrike (400+ improvement). BTW I had driver 378.66 previously. Will post actually improvement numbers when I can.

FYI, in my case and others, it seems MSFT is arbitrarily installing Nvidia driver version 382.36 over the top of 382.33 on Windows 10, but I don't see any difference in performance between the two.

A recent W10 update "Feature update to Windows 10, version 1703" re-installed the same driver set that I already had so immediately upon all of the installs and reboots I used the DDU utility and reloaded the same drivers with only the options I wanted. I wouldn't trust MS to decide which part(s) of which drivers I "WANT/NEED"

Thanks for the heads up on that one, bloody typical MS!

@Heini2 Maddning I know. You made a good extra safe call by going the DDU way and reinstalling. Still, pretty annoying WU can be so dumb ass at times!
