All 4 of my cards did this simultaneously.  I have not seen this in the past.

I stopped folding, changed CPU’s, added a GPU, started folding and then had the power go out because of the storm yesterday, so there was a plethora of reasons lol.

The CPU I grabbed is a E5-2603v3 since it has 40 pci lanes versus 28 that the 6800k has. I am thinking the lower processor speed actually lowered the overall PPD of my system, even though there is now two 1080ti’s, a 2070, and a 2080 running. I am still showing around 3.9m ppd. The GPU usage is staying relatively low at around 80%, so my best guess is the slow CPU processor speed at 1.6ghz.

Once I can find a decently priced 5930k or 6850k, I will move back to the faster processor. The 2603v3 was only $40, so I am not complaining about trying it out for the extra pci lanes lol.

Not sure what you want to spend on a CPU, the e5-16xx CPUs are unlocked, the're the xeon ver of the i7-59xx  130ish
I have seen them a little bit lower, but this is whats there now.

Just ordered a 1650v3. Supposedly it is not unlocked, but it is 3.5ghz vs 1.6ghz. That should be good enough for what I need.

All of my e5-1650 v3 are unlocked, they all should be. They are multiplier unlocked.
In a server it may not be unlocked (like a DELL or SuperMicro server), but in a regular x99 it is unlocked.
You will see when you get it.

    The e5-16xx V4 are locked. Not the v1 ,v2 and v3.

E5-1650v3 added to the mix. Took the processor speeds from 1.6ghz (e5-2603v3) to 3.8ghz(e5-1650v3) and added hyperthreading. Let’s see if that helps the daily scores and output.

    I’m baaaccckkk..

    E5-2603v3 with only core 21:
    08.06.19 - 3,999,106 ppd - 22 work units completed.

    E5-1650v3 with only core 21:
    08.08.19 - 4,519,845 ppd - 27 work units completed.

So, from 1.6ghz to 3.8ghz was a little over 500k ppd. Usage on the GPUs with the 2603v3 was around 80% max, and the 1650v3 is around 90% max.

Nice bump from a CPU change.
