OSD not working?

Dear forum,
This is my first EVGA GPU. I'm using Precision XOC version 6.2.7. I noticed the GUI is a bit different from the one posted on the FAQ. I can't find the "OSD settings" option. Instead there is an "OSD" button. If I click it, it turns blue, but nothing shows up (I had expected to see detailed hardware statistics and fps counter). I added a game to "Precision X server" version 6.1.9. But still the overlay is not shown either on the desktop or in-game. Could anyone provide some insight? Thank you!

    Note: You don't want to add the game to the precision x server exclude list as that will stop the osd from being displayed inside the game. The osd also doesn't work with some games, see this thread for details.

    Also if you just updated to Windows 10 1803, remember that some people is reporting that the OSD does not work properly.

    I watched that video but still have no idea why the overlay is not showing in Witcher 3 and Rise of the tomb raider.
     
    I removed steam.exe from the Precision X server exclude list and made sure my game's executables are not in there. Still no luck.
     
    If I simply toggle on OSD without playing any game, am I supposed to see any overlay on the desktop? Or does it only show up in-game?
     
    PS: My OS is Windows 7 64-bit. I have tried without success both the stand-alone version and the steam version.

    You should only see the overlay in game.

    Somehow Precision starts working properly this morning all of a sudden.

    the precision overlay is unfortunately inferior to other such software available. compatibility is much lower than it could be, and suffers from race conditions which at times blocks injection when started on a computer which has had some up.

    My OSD is not working as well... I've already tried everything, i think.
