On previous versions of Precision X1 I've been able to run the OC scan tool and receive a passing mark and a small GPU OC I can apply. I don't know exactly when this started but trying it now I receiver a failure every time. GPU, CPU and everything else in the PC is the same. Nothing has changed other than Windows updates and Precision X1 updates.

I've tried switching the BIOs switch to OC mode, and have tried increasing the voltage and power to max, I still get a failure every time. Does this work for anyone else?

Replace gpu_stressor.exe and OCScannerWapperCore.dll in the EVGA folder with ones from a older version of PX1. (Or just run a older version of PX1).
They made changes to the stress test and testing algo for ampere card which breaks the test on older ones.

Or better yet just find your stable overclock yourself since the test is really basic.
Fire up heaven running in windowed mode in back ground and keep increasing core speed until crash, artifacts or temps get to high. Then back it down slightly.

That makes sense, thanks for verifying this. The only reason I updated to 1.1.x is because updates are broken in 1.0.x which cause it to crash every time. I don't know if EVGA ever fixed that. I'll try replacing the GPUstressor and dll file.

    Thanks!

I opened up Precision 1.0.7 in 7Zip and I found the GPUStressor.exe but I do not see the OCScannerWapperCore.dll. Does that get extracted out during the installation or is it just the scanner.dll?

Im not sure about 1.0.7, Iv only ever looked at 1.1.1 and 1.1.4 source code.
Maybe try just replacing the GPUStressor at first.
