Nvidia's Gears 5 Ready GPU Driver is due to release tomorrow

The Coalition, the developer behind Gears 5, has confirmed that Nvidia plans to release a "Game Ready" driver for Gears 5 on September 10th, promising increased game performance through the power of game-specific optimisations. 

At this time, it is unknown how Nvidia's upcoming driver will impact Gears 5's PC performance, though the "Game Ready" nature of the driver should ensure that game performance is improved. 

In our Gears 5 PC performance review, we used Nvidia's Geforce 436.15 drivers, the newest drivers that are currently available from Nvidia. Right now, Gear 5 runs great on Nvidia hardware, but the company's upcoming Geforce Game Ready Driver is set to boost the game's framerates further. 
 
So look for this driver tomorrow

    Wonder what it improves since Gears runs on consoles built in 2013. Even the Xbox One X is old now.

    since Gears 4 still has issues with textures having multi-colored rainbows on them ,... maybe Nvidia can fix that issue for this game ?

    can confirm it is one of the fixes included in 436.3x

    I can confirm *  GEARS issues/ textures are fixed with this driver ....for me.

    The graphics in this game are insane. HDR is the cherry on top. 60 to 120 fps on ultra settings depending on the scene with a single 2080 ti too.

    I want this game. going to be my next purchase when I have an extra $65 to spend



     
    you'd be better off buying a month of the new xbox game pass Beta for PC users....  you can play a ton of games right from microsoft through that , on PC.... 
     I got 3 months free of it when buying the AMD processor .  It has gears 5 on it , so I played it,  beat it by the 2nd weekend.  SP is better than 4 . My only complaint was you are forced to play as the girl , unless you completely play co-op and 1 person gets to be Del .
