i would really love to have one of these. i may just save and instaed of getting another gtx 460 for sli or a gtx 470 i may get this one if i save enough.

I'm still wondering if it's out on Monday or Tuesday. So many rumors out there. If it's Monday, then I will stay up until midnight, and be a little tired at work tomorrow. If not I will go to bed sooner.  With all this excitement between COD and this new card, how can we sleep?

Just got back from Microcenter here in Minnesota. They had a 580 GTX sitting out. It was taken away once I started asking about it, but I did snap a cellphone pic. The pic is blurry, but the price tag was $579.99

Woo hoo, it's real! I just pre-ordered two from Sabre PC. I emailed them and they replied right away w/ question response, which I liked. I was asking if I could cancel w/o penalty if there was a long delay pre-shipment (though their site shows it's ETA as this week.) This was the reply:
Hello Mike,
Thank you for contacting SabrePC. Our pre-order policy entitles you to cancel for a full-refund at anytime should there be a long delay with the shipment. We are still awaiting shipping confirmation to our warehouse but we were told that a shipment is inbound this week.
We will definitely keep everyone that places a pre-order with us informed with the status.
So that was good enough for me to pull the trigger, especially since I could still get an RMA on my two MSI 470s I just got 2 weeks ago from another vendor. Those on the way back, and hopefully 580s on the way @ $499 ea.
(BTW, I do not have anything to do w/ Sabre PC and have not used them before, but so far so good. And $79 cheaper than my local Microcenter will have them from what the above post says!

They actually want 580$ for the GTX 580? That 79.99 is just a fancy way to say 80 these days so that's $580 for the 580

I'll do you one challenge better: I am setting up triple-screen projectors w/ 3D Vision Surround, so mine will need to do 3840x720x120hz (in stereo 3D, different images for each eye.) That is going to be pushing 580 dual-SLI pretty hard!
