Game filter to remove dark shadows and make player silhouettes pop out.
Is it cheating or is it using tools at your disposal?

    It's that mentality of trying to find a way around just playing the game, to gain an advantage, that has basically destroyed every online shooter game. Whether you call that cheating or not doesn't really matter, it all leads to the same outcome.

    Definitely a grey area of whether it's cheating or not.... but i do agree, it's of the same mind as a cheater - looking for a way to get a leg up or around on other players.
     
    But to be fair, I am 100% sure all these "pro" teams out in these gaming leagues are all being shown ways to use everything they can to get famous & and win those prizes by any means they can ... so....

    I think Nvidia would back hardware/software based means of improving the odds of winning in any case, Their "frames win games" ad does, so they could use that same mindset for the filter as well.
    Unless you can standardize hardware It'd be pretty difficult to get an even playing field anyway.
