i think im gonna skip this driver version.... 
 
does not seem very adequate for my  gfx card

Any word if there will be drivers to bring the 3090 up to where it should be in competition with the Titan?

Any chance you uninstalled the Nvidia drivers using DDU in safe mode, and installed a fresh version of these after Windows forces their old driver revision install on next boot?

Any chance you uninstalled the Nvidia drivers using DDU in safe mode, and installed a fresh version of these after Windows forces their old driver revision install on next boot?



DDU used. I uninstalled Game ready driver's geforce experience and the minimizing stopped.  However, 30-40FPS max on any game @ any setting. I tried Studio driver (DCH) and performance was 100% amazing. 200+ FPS max everything @ 2K in Modern Warfare. However, a loud audio buzzing was coming from my speakers only while in game. Tested it in Borderlands 3, same insane performance but still audio buzzing. No buzzing in anywhere else.

DDU'ing again right now to try the GRD for the 2nd time, but without geforce experience from the start. 

Edit: 2nd time around on GRD and everything is still 30-40FPS max. I changed resolutions to 1280x720 and still same FPS. Definitely driver issue. Gonna try using the previous release to see what happens. Shame studio is giving an audio buzzing or else I would be 100% content.

Update: Major EMI coming from the 3090 and hitting my EVGA NU audio card. Gotta shield my card or relocate it. :(

Huge bummer there. I hope Nvidia is aware and will release a hotfix driver ASAP.

Hope there are more driver improvements that make the 3090 more like a Titan. Its performance is alright, but in some cases, it is pitiful.

So looks to be EMI via coil whine from the GPU when over 50% power draw. Gotta shield my audio card, relocating it down a slot didn't help. :(

All you lucky folks with your brand spanking new 3080s now get to live thru driver hell.
By the time I get my 3080, it'll be smooth sailing.
(You know, I'll get my card one day before the 3080 Ti/Super is released at a much lower price)

I have the 3090 ftw3 ultra and this driver won't even let you use gsync without the card flickering and turning the connection off. I am using hdmi 2.1 on a lg c9 77 with fiber hdmi cable. Its horrible. No games in my steam library will play unless in borderless windowed mode either. I have ran into instances with gsync off, where 1/3 of the middle of my screen is a black bar from top to bottom in a column. This crap gives me anxiety after spending that much. The worst part? In Nvidia control panel where you set resolution I have mine set to (PC 3840 x 2160 @ 120hz) but when browsing webpages...basically all I can do atm... The scaling is WAY off. Windows in fullscreen also has to be shrunk down because the scroll bar to the right is half missing...and if I have no windows open and am just looking at my left most desktop icons... The first letter of text in any icon is missing. This hurts my head and stomach lol.. I know it's temporary but my God is it sickening. For everyone experiencing issues. I hope you still manage to have a great weekend.

*Tried the "studio drivers" and 0 improvements. Thank you for the suggestion though!*
 
**I have to call LG tomorrow to get a TV firmware update which should fix the issues**

Hopefully Nvidia will have some fixes for the drivers sooner than later. Having AMD nightmares with these drivers
