Two GTX 1080Ti Cards in one Rig running Windows 10 x64 I do not mix card models. But may it would be best to put this in the Other Thread Nvidia GeForce 378.92 WHQL Drivers Released under the EVGA GeForce 10 SeriesStill I wish we had a single point for Graphics Drivers.

I found a thread where you might be able to find a driver that someone has already modded: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=377158 I have my maintenance crew working on my apartment's wiring so I'll be down for a bit before I can give it a go. I am a member at Guru3D so I'll just ask if I can get a modded 373.06 driver for you.

Could you check something for me? Go into the Nvidia folder where the driver is extracted. For the last couple of drivers, after I install the driver, if I go in the the driver folder and try to run the installer exe after installing the driver i get this

Did you try using the 'Take Ownership' hack? https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/It's one of the best utilities I have found to add to my right-click menu. Whenever I can't edit or change something inside of a Folder I just 'Take Ownership' of the Folder and its contents and it's a breeze after that.

Been looking through that Guru3D thread and it looks like I'll need some info from the nVidia control panel. I don't see anything for a 1080 ti in that post yet.
3:) - Adding support for your GPU to the OS
Take the device string for your GPU (for myself it's NVIDIA_DEV.06CD, aka the first part of your
GPU string) and search (CTRL+F) for it in the pastebin link below.
GPU Device ID's - 12/8/13
GPU Device ID's - WINDOWS 10 - 8/12/16
Picture 3
Copy the line you find it in.
(for myself it's %NVIDIA_DEV.06CD% = Section023, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_06CD)
Now, in the INF you are modding, paste that line in the section for your OS;
(CTRL+F for searching in notepad)
-Search "NTx86.5.1" for XP
-Search "NTamd64.6.0" for Vista
-Search "NTamd64.6.1" for 7
-Search "NTamd64.6.2" for 8
-Search "NTamd64.6.3" for 8.1
-Search "NTamd64.10.0" for 10
Save it and you're done. Launch the "setup.exe" from the driver folder and it should start perfectly.

Just change the Everyone to Full Control and you well have the files back, I post about this and it started with the last two drivers. https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2633584 This is what happens when we have so many Threads on the same driver version. This OLD Group was last in use under Windows XP and was STOPPED under Windows Vista and above. So their might be a Security Issue with NVIDIA. Everyone Should Not Be Used by anyone on a Windows 7 and Above OS. They set the Default with No Check Marks and is why users see this error

Man those latest drives are great for my purpose. I know that the feedback is always helpful and I'm always looking for any info from any user(s) before installing new drivers, but then I just realize that most users here looking for a new drivers that are improved/optimize either their their favorite games or for Folding@. My previous drivers 378.77 where good but this new 378.92 driver is huge improvement at least in my case of usage. I use Passware Kit Forensic. with additional 10 Agents so cracking is redistributed among 9 other workstations on my home network, that makes process 10x faster. A file with 9 characters Xieve attack with high complexity with my previous drivers would take about 6-8 hours to decrypt, the most important part was that the speed could get up to 800 passw/s which is huge, but only because the redistribution among other workstations. This new driver its hilarious  and I don't even know why as I can see that the main improvement was made only for couple of games. Now!! the same file takes only 3 hours to crack and the speed can get up to 1400-1500 passw/s, that is almost double, makes a huge difference and what I know this, is that before all my GPUs where utilized only 50/50, 100% would go on for a minute than would go down and fluctuate and that was on all my GPUs on network even with previous older drivers, now my CPU and all GPUs are used 100% at all times..... huge difference. Sorry I know its not related to games but my excitement made me burst this info here
