I realize that this is a known issue with Broadcast.  What I'm wondering is:

1) I realize that a workaround is just to turn it off while I'm not using it, but it's obviously meant to be left running in the background.  Does anyone know if there is a fix planned for the forced 1800MHz clock speed in a future version of Broadcast?

and

2) Will the fact that Broadcast forces my gpu clock to a constant 1800 MHz even while it's just running in the background end up burning out or damaging my card eventually (which is to say within the normal lifespan of the card)?

All that AI Magic needs to be coming from somewhere. That's simply how the software works.

With a later update Nvidia might be able to reduce the clock, but the point stays, there are calculations done all the time by the gpu.

I just double checked. The software takes about 90 Watts of gpu power to run

This is the wrong place to ask.  Ask NVIDIA.

    Extremely doubtful.
