I searched but didn't find anything in this sub forum. I recently got a NU Audio, and It sounds amazing for music and video, but when I launch some games, such as BF1, I get a very loud static/buzz sound.  Anyone else encounter this?

What sample rate/bit-depth are you using?  Which is your primary output - Line Out or Headphone Out?

Does the buzzing sound go away, or does it persist?

The sample rate/bit-depth is set at 24Bit, 96000. I'm using the Headphone out on the card itself, not the front panel header. I think it may be game related. Fallout 4 sounds fine, but BF1 also sounds like the audio is running in slow motion, or pitch bended down really low. I'm going to play around and see if I can figure it out, but it would be nice to know if you have seen anything like this before.

Battlefield V seems to always give me fits above 48kHz.  I wouldn't be surprised if dropping the sample rate to 48kHz on Battlefield 1 doesn't fix it.  Every once in a while I can get 96kHz to work, but it's not worth it.

I just tried that, no change. I even tried going all the way down to 44.1k/16bit. It did change the pitch of the noise, but did not eliminate it.

Well, I just went so far as to uninstall and reinstall BF1 with no change. I also have confirmed that it is only BF1 that is the problem. I can play FO4, Tomb Raider, and Apex Legends with no audio issues.

Well, I somehow managed to fix the issue. There are three things I did that might have resolved it. First, I toggled safe mode in the NU Audio software, I then disabled Surround in the software, and finally I enabled Dolby Atmos Headphones in Windows which required a restart of the PC. Not sure which one worked, but at this point, I don't care. It's fixed.

Well, I spoke too soon. I exited the game and when I restarted the game, the noise is back.

We've been able to reproduce this issue in BF1.  We've reported it to Nahimic and are waiting on an update.

Current workaround is to reinstall the drivers and deselect the Nahimic EQ for now.

Thank you for the update. I was actually able to get the audio working properly temporarily but I'm not sure how. It worked fine long enough for me to complete the campaign, but the next time I launched the game the issue was back.
